Education Challenge for 2018/19

The Itsy Bitsy Block
Working small is the new big thing!

The challenge for this year is to “make/create” blocks that are no bigger than 4” finished. They can be 1” – 3” as well.
These blocks will then be used to create a quilt of any size. Your finished quilt will be hung in the Hub Gallery at artsPlace from May 13 to June 17, 2019.
At the November Quilt Till You Wilt, we will be demo’ing various techniques that are used to create a small block. Come join us for some fun making itsy bitsy blocks using paper piecing, free cutting, stripping, scrapping, using up bits and pieces to name a few.
Again, the emphasis of this challenge is the itsy bitsy block.
