The Mountain Cabin Quilters Guild provides an environment of friendship, mentorship, sharing and appreciation of traditional quilting and art quilting to quilters of all levels.

The Guild is based in Canmore, Alberta serving quilters of the Bow Valley since 1995. Guild members attend monthly meetings, quilting and educational events, attend dedicated quilt days  and retreats. They also have use of the comprehensive guild library. Each year we raffle a quilt to raise funds for various guild programs. Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from September to June at the Canmore Recreation Centre and/or via Zoom.  There are two potluck dinner meetings in December and at the June AGM meeting. The Guild holds several shows a year including the Artistic Visions Show  with a focus on smaller original quilt pieces, and the Festival of Quilts Show which provides an opportunity to see a wide spectrum of quilts. We invite new members to join throughout the year.
