Our April General Meeting features Trudy Cowan: Trudy Talks Quilts via Zoom. It will be an interesting meeting with lots of opportunities to visit with fellow members, check out the library, cruise the Give and Take Table and view the always enjoyable Show and Share.

Our 2025 Art Quilt Show Viewers Choice Winners have been announced.
First place went to Joan Loomis for her quilt titled Bison Herd at the Prairie Edge: In Honour of ‘Buffalo Curls’. It depicted several bison made with raw edge appliqué on a pieced background.
This year we had a tie for second place. This award went to Erin Jolly and Dale Robertson.
Erin Jolly’s quilt titled Owliver, depicted a blue owl created using raw edge layered appliqué.
Dale Robertson’s quilt titled Milky Way, starts with a paper-pieced “Baravelle” Spiral and then appliquéd with more spirals to represent the stars in the Milky Way. It was machine quilted with various colours of metallic thread and embellished with glitter glue.
